EELUS: VADER PROJECT COMP.
2006 commemorated 30 years of the Star Wars legacy. In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations a special art show was established. Entitled The Vader Project, it invites 100 artists to customise their own version of the immortalised Darth Vader helmet. A really interesting art project that spawned some truly innovative and wacky designs - check the Vader Project Flickr to peep snaps from the inspired event.
Esteemed street artist Eelus was amongst the host of artists invited to reinvent the iconic helmet and to celebrate all the pieces going on auction at the Freeman’s Auction House in Philadelphia later this week Eelus has got 4 signed copies of a catalogue which features full colour photos of every single helmet from every angle as well as bio’s on each artist involved in the project.
