EXILE: RADIO BONUS.

SoCal beatsmith, DJ and rapper Exile has been making waves in the hip hop world for some time now. Bursting onto the scene in the late nineties as one half of the coveted hip hop duo Emanon alongside Aloe Blacc, he has since gone from strength to strength refining his adept skills behind the production boards. In 2006 he dropped his solo effort ‘Dirty Science’, worked alongside fellow SoCal rapper Blu on 2007’s seminal ‘Below the Heavens’, he crafted last year's infinitely dope instrumental album ‘Radio’, plus has churned out production work for artists such as Ghostface, Mobb Deep, Jurassic 5 and Fashawn to boot.
As Exile readies himself for the release of ‘AM/FM’ dropping on August 31st – featuring the likes of Blu, Fashawn, Evidence, Alchemist, Krondon, Aloe Blacc and many more, he has kindly released a free version of Exile Radio Bonus. As the ‘AM/FM’ project will see a host of rappers, producers and DJ’s remix the original tracks of his 2009 record ‘Radio’, this free download documents the submissions that didn’t make the final cut of his upcoming release.

It might be a little old now but in keeping with the Exile theme – watch as the skilled beatsmith makes constructing a beat on a MPC look as simple as writing a text message, with an incredible remix of Lil Wayne’s ‘A Milli’. FRESH!!
