MADVILLAIN: PAPERMILL.
Not much has been heard since it was officially announced last year that Doom and Madlib were back in the lab working on a new Madvillain project. However, yesterday Stones Throw announced the first release from the highly anticipated new project was to be track ‘Papermill’.
A smooth, funk-ridden track that oozes nostalgia, transporting the listener back to duos epic 2004 debut.
Though no official date has been issued and the project is currently being described as “a work-in-progress”, this is a nice little treat to tie fans over until such a date becomes revealed.
