PAPER CRANES.

His debut album - A Strange Arrangement - was released on Stones Throw last year to critical acclaim. He gained fans like Justin Timberlake and Snoop Dee Oh Double Gee. He's toured with blues supremo and relentless Grammy award collector John Mayer. There's no doubting it: Mayer Hawthorne - real name Andrew Mayer Cohen - is fast becoming a household name.
Which is awesome, especially if it means Stones Throw receives some well earned limelight and attention.
What you might not know, is that Hawthorne used to produce pretty fly, sun-soaked, feel good hip-hop under the moniker Haircut - as part of hip-hop trio Now On.

You should check out some of their music - you'll like it.
Anyway, to celebrate his 10,000th follower on the ubiquitous Twitter, Cohen has offered up a nice little instrumental he cooked up as Haircut. Entitled '1000 Paper Cranes', the joint is pure, lean-back-on-your-sofa, nod-your-head-in-appreciation-with-a-slow-smile goodness:
I wouldn't mind hearing more like this from the dude in the future.
Check out the ineffably summery 'Now On And On' below.
COME ON SUMMER.
