Dilated Peoples man releases album sampler mixed by Babu
Us lot at Brainer have been waiting an eternity for this record to drop. That’s right, Evidence of the mighty Dilated Peoples (and now Rhymesayers too) is finally ready to release his sophomore solo album ‘Cats and Dogs’ at the end of September.
A hip-hop album in its purest sense, ‘Cats and Dogs’ will feature some serious talent: think Slug, Aesop Rock, Raekwon, Aloe Blacc, Bun B and more on the rhymes, and signature drums from regular collaborator Alchemist, Evidence himself plus more.
Excited? You should be. Whet your appetite and check out this nifty 9 minute sampler of the LP mixed by fellow Dilated crew member BABU. ‘You’ – the final track – is produced by DJ Premier. And it’s absolutely bananas.
