KID KOALA, KOKO, 12TH MARCH

Canadian wax manipulator returns to London for show at Koko

The last time I saw Kid Koala play in London was when Shadow and Cut Chemist were touring their new The Hard Sell show at Camden’s beautiful Roundhouse. Already hyped enough by the main attraction (as you would be), the news that Kid Koala was on support duties sent me over the edge – the pint sized Canadian turntable wizard is, well, jaw-dropping to watch. I remember he did this insane routine involving ‘Moon River’ and some crazed manual dexterity and stylus play. Needless to say, it was a dope night.

Good news then, that the Ninja Tune wax manipulator is back in London on Saturday 12th March, with support from all manner of party rockers, including DJ Vadim and Mr Thing (ex-Scratch Perv and consistently the illest hip-hop deejay you will ever see; the man knows how to slay a crowd). Everything you need to know below.

See you there yeah?
