Happy Birthday Jay Dee

We all know who J Dilla is. We all have our favourite beats that he produced (for me, it’s all about the soulful joints – Common’s ‘The Light’ Remix featuring Erykah Badu is my JAM). And the more than eclectic producer, who profoundly changed the face of hip-hop, would have celebrated his 37th birthday yesterday had he not passed away from a rare blood disease on February 10th, 2006.
